Wheel-thrown in stoneware and finished in a warm Desert glaze, this handmade cup has a rich, earthy surface with soft brown and sandy tones, layered with darker charcoal-brown areas where the glaze deepens. Subtle variations in the surface reveal the texture and natural character of the clay, giving each cup its own individual feel.
The gently tapered form has a comfortable, hand-pulled handle and is sized specifically for flat whites and small milk coffees. Its simple, balanced shape makes it lovely to hold and easy to use every day.
Fired to a high temperature for strength and durability, signed on the base, and made to be used rather than kept on a shelf. As with all handmade ceramics, small variations in shape, glaze and surface are part of the character of the piece.
Microwave and dishwasher safe — though hand washing in hot soapy water is recommended to keep the glaze looking its best for longer.
