Learn pottery in Linda’s peaceful countryside studio in Bowling, West Dunbartonshire — just outside Glasgow. She offers beginner lessons, wheel‑throwing classes and small ceramics workshops in a friendly, relaxed setting.
Pottery Taster Lesson — £60 (2 hours)
A relaxed, beginner‑friendly 2‑hour introduction to wheel‑throwing. You’ll learn how to centre clay, form basic shapes, and create your first piece on the wheel.
If you’d like to keep two of your best pieces that you make, there is an additional £10 firing and finishing fee payable on the day. Linda will trim, bisque fire, glaze and finally glaze fire them so they becomes fully vitrified and functional..

Throw, Trim & Glaze — 3‑Week Course — £150
A structured beginner course covering the full wheel‑throwing process.
Week 1: Throw — learn centering, pulling walls, and shaping bowls or cylinders.
Week 2: Trim — refine your pieces, add foot rings, and prepare for glazing.
Week 3: Glaze — choose colours, apply glaze, and prepare your work for firing.
Small groups (up to 4 students) ensure plenty of one‑to‑one guidance.
Private Pottery Tuition
One‑to‑one wheel‑throwing lessons tailored to your pace. Ideal for focused skill development, improving technique, or building confidence before joining group sessions.

Experieced potters or returning students can book private studio wheel time to practise independently. Includes access to the wheel, tools, clay, and firing options.
